Orderly Network, a cloud-based liquidity infrastructure platform, has announced its expansion onto Avalanche (AVAX), a platform powering decentralized applications (dApps) and custom blockchain networks, as reported to Finbold on Monday, November 11.
More liquidity in cross-chain trading
Addressing issues with slow transactions, centralization, and scalability characteristic of earlier blockchain networks, Avalanche is capable of handling over 4,500 transactions per second and finalizing them in under two seconds.
Avalanche consensus, the platform’s consensus mechanism, likewise ensures fast, secure, and energy-efficient transaction validation.
Orderly Network’s cloud liquidity infrastructure, on the other hand, aims to ease trading by consolidating orders from multiple blockchains within a shared orderbook, ensuring liquidity and tightening bid-ask spreads.
Built on the OP Stack and integrating Celestia’s data availability via LayerZero’s cross-chain messaging protocol, the Orderly Chain serves as a foundational settlement layer and transactions ledger.
Orderly Network’s on-chain orderbook
Orderly’s on-chain orderbook and liquidity solutions are expected to help developers deploy futures trading platforms and create a variety of financial products.
By mitigating cross-chain bridging and wrapped asset risks, Orderly prioritizes user experience and brings its front-end trading interfaces to its perpetuals infrastructure.
Operating on six chains — Polygon (MATIC), Arbitrum, Optimism (OP), Base, Ethereum (ETH) mainnet, and Mantle — Orderly will soon expand to Solana as well.
The integration with Avalanche will allow traders to engage with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and non-EVM participants from other popular networks.
As such, the expansion represents a crucial step forward for Orderly Network as it dedicates its resources to expanding liquidity access and creating a more efficient trading environment.
Through its partnership with Avalanche, Orderly will be well-positioned to bring together a wider trading and development community dedicated to cross-chain innovation and collaboration.
