DWF Labs, a leading Web3 investor, has launched the $20 million Cloudbreak Fund to support Web3 projects and founders in Chinese-speaking regions, as per the latest updates shared with Finbold on July 3.
The fund will nurture innovative initiatives in GameFi, SocialFi, Memecoins, Derivatives, and Layer-1/Layer-2 infrastructure projects by providing them with the resources necessary to accelerate their growth and establish a strong presence in the Web3 ecosystem.
Andrei Grachev, Managing Partner at DWF Labs, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating:
“We have been working with founders in Chinese-speaking regions since 2018. I’m personally a big fan of their culture and intense, diligent work ethic. Projects in Chinese-speaking regions have experienced tremendous growth in recent months and require dedicated support to realize their full potential. To meet this need, Cloudbreak was created, a fund designed to unlock the potential of emerging projects in Chinese-speaking regions.”
DWF Lab’s extensive network
As a seasoned Web3 investor and market maker, DWF Labs boasts a partner network of over 700 projects.
Known for their role as a leading liquidity provider, rated Bybit’s Best Liquidity Provider of 2024, DWF Labs is well-equipped to assist projects in their tokenization efforts.
The DWF team manages wallet integrations, hackathons, funding initiatives, and grant programs across the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchains such as TON, Algorand, Gala Chain, and Klaytn.
Additionally, DWF Labs provides strategic brand and marketing channel distribution and leverages a robust KOL network to support project success.
Web3 initiatives in Chinese and other markets
Earlier this year, DWF Labs reinforced their commitment to the MENA region by partnering with DMCC, a crucial free zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise, to launch a $5 million growth platform for Web3 and blockchain businesses.
The Cloudbreak Fund highlights DWF Labs’s dedication to fostering innovation and growth within the Web3 space.
Focusing on Chinese-speaking regions, the fund aims to bring local projects to a global audience and explore new use cases for Web3 technology.
